I invite you to write your Imagine story. Begin wherever your heart feels stuck and let it speak. You can start every sentence with the word Imagine just like they are written in the book, or you can write in paragraph form, whatever way feels most comfortable. If you’d like your story placed on this website, just click the box at the bottom of this page. Either way, I would love to read your story.
Stories needed for the next edition of The Imagine Project! Kids and Teens!
I am currently looking for stories from kids and teens. To submit your story for the book, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. We can discuss your story. You can write it or I can interview you and write it myself. I will not use the story for the book without further contact and written permission from the parent or guardian. Once I have received all of the submissions, the decision will be made as to which story will be used for the books and I will contact you for further information and permission. I’m so excited to read the new stories!
Here is a sample of an Imagine story:
Imagine…waking up at night hearing your parents screaming at each other.
Imagine…wishing they would stop.
Imagine…one day coming home to find out your dad has moved out.
Imagine…having to live in two different places.
Imagine…your parents getting along better now that they aren’t married.
Imagine…learning to adjust to life in two different homes.
Submission deadline for the Kids and Teen book is June 1, 2015.
Thank you! Dianne
